About Us

Right2LearnCA is a grassroots coalition of families and advocates advancing equitable access to meaningful, inclusive education for all students, including those subjected to lifetimes of educational segregation. We center the voices and experiences of multiply marginalized disabled students and families, recognizing that meaningful educational change is created through collaboration, shared learning, and community knowledge. Together, we strive to transform schools into places where every learner belongs, participates, and thrives.

Our Founding Members

Our founding members reflect diverse families and are parents, family members, and advocates whose efforts have helped pave the way for other students to access high-quality, inclusive education in their own neighborhood schools. They bring lived experience alongside professional expertise in education, healthcare, research, and advocacy, and many have completed specialized special education advocacy training and now support families across California in understanding and advancing their educational rights.
